Monday,29th Dec 2008; 5:30 a.m, (waiting room Dhuri Station,Punjab)
The day has not ended yet,its been one of those longest days i would ever remember. The lengthiest day, I should say. I mean it literally. Past 18 hours have been only traveling.It started with with usual sundays mornings,woke up late with other follow up activities.
14:15 p.m (28/12/08)-Train to Dhuri.
What came to a surprise was that we (I along with a service enggr.) caught the wrong train. there was a confusion regarding the trains ,unfortunately both having similar names..but noe i was in th etrain which was not going to dhuri,the place we had to. and I dint get to knw this until I reached Bhatinda..And yes travelled in general compartment for the first time..nothing was falling in right place.Anyhow reached Bhatinda.Now what? 'This ques very often comes to mind when things dont go accordingly..which happens with me most of the times.'but had to go to dhurio. The only train was at 23:45 hrs. No other option was available..'At times in your life when you dont know what to do,then its better to go with the flow'.So had dinner,came back & again another lone night on the railway station..i knw there was this other guy with me, but he was nothing more but,an asshole..The temperature was desperate to dive by degress with each passing hour & visibility nearer to just some 20 mtrs..This wouyld be the wildest of the dream anyone would have had.but it was not a dream. i was sitting on the platform, on a cold bench for couple of hours.

Thanks to Indian railways, our train was late ,gud enough for the situation.to make it worst for me.
01:30 hrs..Bhatinda station
could not understand why the hell they did not want to run the train on time. It was mere standing on the platform for the past 30 min..come on pls..and the for the icing, we could not get the seats,and was standing with two of my carry bags..what more could i hav asked for..great naa?

how well could anyone rate this experience of sleeping when you are standing with two of your bags..i give an 8..
(thank goodness,if there'd be, got to sit somehow)

Ah well here we come..visibility nearer to zero, now where to go, could not find any conveyennce not even a single man live.lol..
now waiting for the morning to find any conveyence,in the waiting lounge of the station, having chips and tea,this is the best we could do here..So this is my goodbye for this so-called lengthiest night or day should i say...
